Soup and Bread

I made vegetable soup and bread tonight.  The soup had onions, swiss chard stems, celery, carrot, mushroom, the last of the leftover Fancy Garlic Spread, and leftover Caribbean rice and beans, and was seasoned with Spike.

The bread was King Arthur’s Wheat rolls.  My daughter, warmed up from playing with playdough, formed the bread into a flower made up of rolls.  It took a little longer than rolls usually take to bake, maybe 10 min more.  It came out great, but I forgot to take a picture.

My kids both thanked me for the delicious meal.
