Pizza Hut

Posted by tinako on January 23, 2011

We have been in search of a new pizza joint to take out from that’s on the way to my parents’, since Shoes has nothing vegan.  Last week we tried Piatza’s but it tasted like supermarket frozen.  To be fair, maybe they use less oil in baking it and that makes it taste more dull.  This week we tried Pizza Hut but their vegan crust, Thin ‘n Crispy, while acceptable, is more like a tortilla pizza, and they don’t have a great vegetable selection.

We noticed a Little Caesar’s on the way so we’ll give that a try next week; we used to love their pizza in CT.  It is nice that their web site specifically addresses vegan options.  Their crust and sauce are vegan, and so are the breadsticks if ordered without parmesan.

My Dad had some great ice cream for us, Purely Decadent Peanut Butter Zig Zag.  These smaller pint-sizes taste a lot better than the quarts.
